Losing my Sanity, One Fingernail at a Time

BioI'm not the most social person in the world- I tend to require a lot of alone time which is great because I'm alone most of the time. I have a lot of friends that I talk to online but not so much in real life because I suck at face-to-face conversation. In my copious amounts of free time I get obsessions with various television programs and movies. Currently I'm obsessed with Doctor Who and David Tennant. Previous obsessions that resurface now and then are: House MD (actually...this one is on-going, and WILSON HAS NO REASON TO HATE HOUSE DAMMIT!), Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, The X-Files, Scrubs, Firefly, and 24. I'm also a big Law and Order: SVU fan.
I am also an avid reader of fanfiction, but it is farking HARD to find good, well-written, in-character, non-Mary Sue fanfics out there. I suck at writing fanfics myself, though I have been known to write 100-word stories because those usually consist of me not having to actually have a plot. :)
Also- big fan of emoticons. And talking in lolCat. I use internet acronyms in real life (usually just to be a tool).
I'm fairly liberal, but not a Democrat. In fact- I fucking hate the Democrats. I also hate the Republicans. In fact- I hate the Republicans more than the Democrats, but that's not saying much considering how much I loathe the Dems. I avoid voting for main party candidates when at all possible. I tend to bitch more about Republicans- but that's because I am not conservative sooooo...yeah. I try to be even keel and bash both parties when possible but sometimes...the stupidity of social conservatives outweighs my desire to be "fair".
